Anything Goes: The BP oil spill song

11 people were killed when DeepWater Horizon blew up on 20th April, 2010. The resulting oil spill threatens to become the worst oil spill disaster in US history. At the time of writing, thousands of gallons of oil continue to spew out of the broken oil pipes a mile underwater, because, it seems, a vital cut-off valve system on the seabed failed to operate, raising questions about cost-cutting and engineering quality.

Anything Goes - the BP Oil Spill Song is a general comment on the way in which rich governments and corporations feel empowered to do what they like. The result of the Anything Goes attitude is that the world community is looking out onto a horizon of deepwater - we're in trouble, and it's all going to get much worse - except perhaps, for the rich.

The song is basically calling for a change in this attitude.

With apologies to Cole Porter and with thanks for his genius.
